Cajon Pepote PRO-ESTUDIO

The Cajon Pepote Fiesta is the first of the Cajon Pepote models that has a tensioner for the vertical strings, a tool that multiplies the dynamic range of sounds and at the same time allows the percussionist a greater control of the tuning. Its Mongoy front side offers super soft nuances with very compensated bass sounds.

The Cajon Pepote Maestro is made of solid tulipier wood with a rosewood front side. It is one of the most pleasurable cajons to play. The tulipier wood  gives the Maestro powerful basses and a warm, round sound. Master cajon maker Pepote himself builds and tunes this model in his workshop in southern Spain. The cajon Pepote Maxi is a deeper, wider and lower cajon than other designs in his collection of world-class instruments. These measurements, together with the lower position of the sound hole and its bass reflex make the Maxi produce two very differentiated bass sounds, offering an extraordinary dynamic range due to the angle of cut of the side pieces: it is tilted backwards, which makes it the most comfortable model to play.
