Jose Ramirez 140 Years Flamenca Blanca Flamenco Guitar

The José Ramírez 140 Years Flamenca Blanca is part of the collection created to celebrate more than 140 years of Ramírez history and five generations of guitar makers.

Built with a spruce top and cypress back and sides, it features the most traditional wood combination for a flamenco guitar. Cypress contributes to a light, direct and defined character, with the fast response and percussive attack particularly associated with traditional flamenco playing.

The 140 Years models use the same body shape as the commemorative Ramírez 125, 130 and Tiempo guitars. The collection also features Amalia Ramírez's distinctive narcissus flower design, symbolising “new beginnings”.

The guitar features an ebony fingerboard, 650 mm scale length, Ramírez tuning machines and a synthetic finish. An optional LR Baggs system, combining microphone and pickup, is also available for amplified performance.

This Flamenca Negra version combines a spruce top with Indian rosewood back and sides, a configuration that complements the fast, articulate response expected from a flamenco guitar with greater depth, harmonic richness and tonal body.

The 140 Years models use the same body shape as the commemorative Ramírez 125, 130 and Tiempo guitars. Their distinctive appearance features a design by Amalia Ramírez inspired by the narcissus flower, a symbol of “new beginnings”, giving the instrument a particularly distinctive visual identity closely linked to the Ramírez family tradition.

Shipping costs vary depending on the country of destination. They are calculated once you enter your delivery address when you register as a customer. You can estimate your shipping costs in the table below:

All our shipments include handling and full insurance during shipment.

At Guitar From Spain we ship worldwide. The only exceptions are shipments to countries with restrictions or embargoes due to geopolitical reasons, natural disasters or certain areas of the world without logistic coverage by our shipping agencies.

Our shipments are safe, whether your guitar travels with or without a guitar case. Our packaging has been designed and manufactured exclusively for our company to the highest quality standards. In addition to this, our experience has taught us how to pack and protect a guitar so that it arrives in perfect condition at its destination, regardless of the distance or climate of the destination country. If, despite this, your shipment should suffer unavoidable loss or damage, our insurance will cover the full refund or restitution of your order.

Most of our guitars come from the factory or the luthier when we receive an order with the options that the customer indicates on the order. Our lead time for preparing an order is 3 to 10 days depending on the model and the options that the customer incorporates into the guitar in the order. In addition to this, all our guitars undergo an exhaustive quality control by our specialists before they are shipped. 

For deliveries to countries within the European Union, the VAT of each country is included in our prices. For shipments to countries outside the European Union, our prices do NOT include VAT, so they are subject to import taxes and customs fees that will be processed and charged by the transport agency prior to delivery of the order. The management of import taxes for shipments to countries outside the European Union is handled by the transport agency, so you do not have to worry about these procedures. You will only have to pay the amount of the import taxes to the transport agency when they inform you.
