Alhambra JMV Serie NT Classical Guitar

€8,021.49

Jose Maria Vilaplana (JMV) has been the master luthier at Alhambra for more than 35 years; he started building guitars with his father when he was only 16 years old, and is one of the founders of Alhambra guitars. There are several models built by him and they are sold under his name as signature guitars, rather than under the Alhambra name.

A maestro of great patience, JMV dedicated much time analyzing the past history of guitar making, as well as investigating the present moment of this noble art, with the objective of designing the finest of instruments imaginable. Following in the footsteps of the brilliant guitarist and luthier from Málaga, Antonio Torres, he succeeded in his objective, with his JMV Serie NT: this instrument has a breath-taking sound quality, which is all-enveloping and both powerful and delicate. It is no surprise that this is the instrument of choice of many of the world’s greatest performers.

The José María Vilaplana Serie NT features solid red cedar top, solid Indian rosewood back and sides, Spanish cedar neck, (internally reinforced with ebony), and luxurious gold-plated head tuners. Exquisite French polish finish. A very exclusive guitar for the most exacting guitarist. Alhambra by BAM guitar case 9568 included. Alhambra by BAM AB ICONIC 9270 as an option.

Alhambra 5P 7/8 Classical Guitar

€759.50

The Alhambra Senorita 5P 7/8 from Alhambra Guitars. Special-sized classical guitar and 'Conservatory' model. The soundboard of this Spanish classical guitar plays an important role in the full-bodied, warm and rich sound this instrument produces. It consists of a thin sliver of wood supported by 7 braces, with 2 harmonic bars at the bottom. The qualities of the woods used include a close grain count and high stiffness to mass ratio, which allow maximum output for the minimum input, and impart resilience, a lightweight build and resonance. Beautifully handmade in Spain, with an inlaid wooden rosette, this guitar is the perfect example of the love the Alhambra guitar makers have for their craft. The neck of the guitar features an internal ebony reinforcement. Available in standard size.  Gig Bag included.

Prudencio Saez STAGE Electro Classical Guitar

€784.30

As the name suggests, the guitar Prudencio Saez STAGE is the perfect tool for the performing musician: this nylon-stringed guitar is made for the stage. Less feedback, less weight, a more comfortable neck and all the sound you need from a electro-classical guitar made in Spain. The Prudencio Saez STAGE hasn't got a sound hole on the top like most classical guitars, which adds to the futuristic look of this model. Instead, it has a 'sound port' on the upper side of the guitar. The neck is thinner and narrower than the typical neck of a classical guitar, so it can be considered a Crossover guitar. It features a thin body with cutaway and the finish is made with a thin layer of matte varnish, leaving the pores of the wood open for full resonance. With solid spruce top, the Prudencio Saez Stage has a rosewood body, ebony fingerboard and a truss rod inside the neck. It comes equipped with Fishman Classic III electronics. Gig bag included.
