This version combines a cedar top with Indian rosewood back and sides, a classic combination offering an immediate response, a warm, harmonically rich sound, strong basses and a particularly expressive character.

The 140 Years models use the same body shape as the commemorative Ramírez 125, 130 and Tiempo guitars. Jose Maria Vilaplana (JMV) has been the master luthier at Alhambra for more than 35 years; he started building guitars with his father when he was only 16 years old, and is one of the founders of Alhambra guitars. A maestro of great patience, JMV dedicated much time analyzing the past history of guitar making, as well as investigating the present moment of this noble art, with the objective of designing the finest of instruments imaginable. All our shipments include handling and full insurance during shipment.

At Guitar From Spain we ship worldwide. The only exceptions are shipments to countries with restrictions or embargoes due to geopolitical reasons, natural disasters or certain areas of the world without logistic coverage by our shipping agencies.

Our shipments are safe, whether your guitar travels with or without a guitar case. Our packaging has been designed and manufactured exclusively for our company to the highest quality standards. In addition to this, our experience has taught us how to pack and protect a guitar so that it arrives in perfect condition at its destination, regardless of the distance or climate of the destination country. If, despite this, your shipment should suffer unavoidable loss or damage, our insurance will cover the full refund or restitution of your order.

Most of our guitars come from the factory or the luthier when we receive an order with the options that the customer indicates on the order. Our lead time for preparing an order is 3 to 10 days depending on the model and the options that the customer incorporates into the guitar in the order. In addition to this, all our guitars undergo an exhaustive quality control by our specialists before they are shipped. 

For deliveries to countries within the European Union, the VAT of each country is included in our prices. For shipments to countries outside the European Union, our prices do NOT include VAT, so they are subject to import taxes and customs fees that will be processed and charged by the transport agency prior to delivery of the order. The management of import taxes for shipments to countries outside the European Union is handled by the transport agency, so you do not have to worry about these procedures. You will only have to pay the amount of the import taxes to the transport agency when they inform you.
