The Alhambra 9PA was redesigned in 2018 to incorporate a new neck with a more ergonomic and comfortable profile called an ERGONECK. It features a bridge-shaped cross bracing pattern to give the top maximum volume and projection. But the richness of the sound is not this guitar’s only top quality: the action is also superb - high enough to make the guitar sing but extremely comfortable too. And the sound projection is perfect: basses, mediums and trebles are fully balanced. In contrast to the standard 6-hole bridge, the strings can be fixed more easily, quickly and securely. The risk of the strings slipping and damaging the top is considerably reduced. A special feature of all Manuel Rodriguez 4/4 guitars is the built-in armrest, which offers two decisive advantages: its curved shape ensures a particularly pleasant playing experience and allows the soundboard to vibrate freely over the entire surface, as it prevents sound damping due to the positioning of the arm on the top of the guitar.
